Wireless data link is a new direction for the development of the wireless communication technology, as a branch of the whole system, research on information transmission technology of wireless data link is become very important. Firstly, a brief description of the wireless data link application status is written, and a detailed analysis is carried out on the system of wireless data link. Modulation and demodulation technology were demonstrated through system simulation, and carried out using the hardware description language.The way of the modulation is UQPSK, and testing and analysis the result of the UQPSK signal after the modulation is completed; For the demodulation, the main target is get a correct carrier tracking loop and a symbol synchronization module. There are a large number of methods for carrier synchronization, the system choose a way which is easily extraction the phase error, and achieve carrier synchronization finally. Gardner algorithm for the symbol-bit synchronization is one of the way in the synchronization technology for the symbol-bit, and it is also be used in this system. The difficulty for the symbol-bit synchronization is how to carry out Gardner algorithm. Finally, the system complete this using the Verilog HDL language, and achieved the correct data.Eventually, the subject demonstrated the feasibility of the UQPSK modulation and demodulation system; in the end, the analyzed and summarized is carried out for the final system performance.
