| Duo to the poor environment of low-voltage power line, there are many problems in the application of traditional automatic meter reading system (AMRS) based on PLC. Carrier communication and automatic routing are the two key factors that limit its performance. In order to improve the traditional design methods, the new idea that using the narrow-band spread spectrum communication withsoftware-modulation and demodulation is studied in this paper. Then, a scheme of ARMS is discussed. At the same time, in order to resolve the difficulty of routing in carrier commnunication, the ant colony random search mechanism is introduced and a new dynamic routing algorithm for AMRS is proposed. Finally, by simulation and tests in laboratory, the paper verified the designed scheme and the proposed algorithm are effective and feasible.In this paper, the technology of software-modulation and demodulation was used, and the automatic routing search method based on the ant colony algorithm was introduced into the system designing creatively. This method provided a very useful new idea for studying in the field of AMRS based on carrier. Therefore, this study has a certain sense of innovation. |
