As a kind of conventional fossil energy, coal plays an irreplaceable important role in the national economy and social development. Coal production has a long history, but the safety production of the coal mine has been a difficult problem in the world. Due to the production of coal mine includes many sub systems, huge and complicated data, and the separation of management and production, it is difficult to conduct on-site management, which objectively caused many difficulties in coal mine safety production management. In recent years, with the development of information technology, China’s coal mine production information, network, digital degree to rise ceaselessly, but affected by the traditional mode of production and process, the information isolated island phenomenon is serious, low information visualization, therefore, construction of an integrated3D visualization information management platform, has the profound significance.This paper based on OpenGL and OPC technology coal mine-3D visualize-tion management system research, which belongs to the coal mine safety production information monitoring research, mainly focuses on the study of the three-dimensional visual modeling,3D visualization based on OPC interface and system integration. Becase mine production management information system is a vast and complex system, this paper, design and implementation of the system is divided into two steps:Firstly, a three-dimensional configuration software platform is designed based on system integration,3D visualization technology, and then with the various subsystems of the coal re-integration, build a comprehensive informa-tion management system for3D visualization based on the three-dimensional configuration platform.Using the figure perception and graphics to express complex, quantity but high precision characteristic of information, the visual display of coal mine underground roadway transportation and production site topography, coal production each link and internal staff activities. Managers can use this visualization information platform for monitoring underground to various locations and equipment real-time status information, analysis of the situation of production safety, when necessary to control or safety production scheduling, thereby improving the production efficiency, reduce the production accident.Firstly, this paper introduces the development process of coal mine production management system and analyzes the system integration and three-dimensional visualization technology research status at home and abroad. And it summarizes the inadequacy mine production information management platform, and put forward corresponding research programme.Secondly, targeting mine production three-dimensional space entities as the object of study, the paper analyzes the production of coal mine3D visualization modeling technology and key algorithm. In view of the coal-mine3D modeling features, a hybrid modeling scheme and the formation of integrated data model based on TIN and ARTP is adopted for3D tunnel modeling, and on C++platform the data structure is designed, furthermore it analyzes visualization process based on OpenGL, in view of coal mine enterprise information isolated island phenomenon, then it provide integrated method based on the technology of OPC interface level to realize heterogeneous system seamless link and analyzes the essence and communication logic of OPC technology.Then the paper analyzes the configuration characteristics of system functions and structure. Combined with OpenGL visualization technology, OPC interface technology, ActiveX control technology, It design based on OPC tech-nology Three-dimensional visual configuration platform using the Visual Studio2008programming environment. Furthermore it focus on the3D graphics and a control module, communication module based on OPC program development process, and a detailed explains the realization process and the key link of program code.Finally, three-dimensional visualization information management system in coal mine production on the3D configuration platform. It introduced the coal mine production of three-dimensional visualization system design framework and implementation scheme, and the system performance characteristics, visual interface design, interface development process. And to the personnel position-ing system as the example, introduces in detail composition of personnel positioning system, interface design, implementation method, and provides the running interface map.
