As the high speed development of mobile intelligent terminal and wirelesscommunication technology, more and more derivative product based on them appeared in theview of the people gradually, and the products can provide people with more convenient andquick service. The auto navigation system is well-known and widely-used. The autonavigation system is a kind of tools which cooperate with electronic map and indicate theshortest or most quick path accurately for drivers. However, urban develop fast nowadays,rode traffic rules change frequently, the problem caused by auto security hidden danger isgetting worse, all of above reasons make the existing auto navigation system with simplefunction and trouble upgrade cannot meet the demands of the people. Recent years, thedevelopment of GIS lays a foundation for improving this situation.This paper mainly introduces a system based on GIS, which can provide remote servicesthrough3G network. The remote service system not only blend the traditional car navigationfunctions, but also take potential risk of internal fault into consideration, and it solve therescue after the accident well. We install a fault diagnosis in the car, send the data parametersfrom the car to the server, our system will process them, and we may get the fault andpotential risk of the car. At the same time in the server equipped with service personnel, thefault of the car processed by the system will finally show in the remote service system, and itcan be checked by service personnel any time. When general fault occurs, the servicepersonnel should timely remind owner of vehicle to maintenance. When major accidenthappens, the service personnel first contact by phone with the owner, and eventuallydetermine whether to assist the alarm. Because this system use3G signal, a car and the servertransmit data point-to-point, unlike traditional navigators, there is no need to send ournavigators to designated place for upgrading, it is an avoid of the trouble and upgradinguntimely. We take oil resources into consideration, and the research of new energy car is ongoing.A more mature research is about electric car, it may also be a car development direction. Forthis, we added in the system about the electric car of the special function. Such as thediagnosis can detection remaining power, and in the car need to charge to indicate. When testthe system, we add some battery charging station on the map, if power of the car can’t get toits destination, the system will find the right route, and let the owner charge the car batteryand drive to the destination.The system uses B/S structure, from the bottom to the top is divided into three layers: thedata access layer, business logic layer and presentation layer. Data access layer operateoriginal data, business logic layer mainly use functions to reflect the operation of data, andpresentation layer finally call business logic layer function to get the desired result. Faultdiagnosis collect data from the car, sent to it to the server, and the data will be stored in adatabase, system read data from the database and analyze, finally show the results to the webpages.Along with the development of national economy, people will be more attention to thequality of life and life safety. In the development of the system, we considered fully in theprocess of driving in convenience, safety and environmental protecting, fully embodies thepeople-oriented point of view. So the system has positive significance to both driver and thesociety.
