Data mining system in the academic analysis of research results Continually striving toimprove the quality of teaching is the goal of every college and students’ test scores are theirmain indicators of teaching quality. Teaching management generates a lot of examinationresults data, which are often processed by traditional methods, the processing lacks furtheranalysis to identify the factors that affect students’ test score. There are many factors affectingstudent achievement, using traditional analytical methods fails to obtain this information fromthe student test data, but the corresponding data in the data mining technology tool can findhidden rules or patterns in the data to obtain valuable information and rules that can improvethe test scores in order to improve teaching methods, to help students overcome difficulties inlearning, teaching curriculum arrangements, and effectively guiding students to select courses,and to improve teaching quality and educational effectsThis paper focuses on the classification algorithm for data mining technology, the detaileddescription and analysis of the decision tree involving ID3algorithm and C4.5algorithm. Alot of comparative research has been conducted on the two algorithms and C4.5decision treealgorithm is employed, but the algorithm is high. Using the number of equivalentinfinitesimal principle of the algorithm to improve the test contrast, the new algorithm reducesthe computation and improves the efficiency of constructing a decision tree.C4.5decision tree algorithm is planned to be applied to student performance analysissystem, the paper builds a performance analysis model and data mining database. Before theresults of data mining, student achievement data needs data cleansing, data conversion anddata preprocessing, the vacancy data, continuous-valued attribute. C4.5decision treealgorithm which uses the improved Computer Science professional learning has an importantimpact on the professional foundation courses C Programming. Data mining and its decisiontree has been analyzed to obtain the classification rule, from the classification rules the paperfinds out the factors that affect students’ learning of the course grade, which has been done onthe professional courses in the College: Net Programming and therefore has generated adecision tree and has had access to the curriculum influential curriculum. The research helps teaching management department of the school and teachers, to improve teaching programs,teaching methods, to provide data support for the professional curriculum of the schoolcurriculum-related mining, and to develop appropriate measures for the sake of providingstrong support for the improvement of the quality of teaching.
