In order to alleviatethe work pressure on teaching management staff, the University Institute of management moreefficient and convenient, the university teachers information management system is designedand developed to combine the faculty information management features in the paper,.Firstly, it is introduced in the paper on the background of the research, the status and trendsof domestic and international development and research of significance. The technical basis forsystem development are described, including C++language features and technicalrequirements, MFC programming base and mysql database.Secondly, the functionality of the system is analyzed, the system design goals and the needsof each subsystem is clear, and the database structure is designed on this basis,and the E-Rdiagram of data is established, data types are designed, data tables are given.Then, it is elaborated on the teachers’ information management system implementationprocess. The system includes the teacher basic information, the teaching information, thescientific research information, the system management four function modules, mainlycompletes the information to increase，inquiry, statistics, the debarkation function. Thecompleting of each module are elaborated in detailed, and gave the algorithm flowchart, themain code and running results.Finally, the problems is summarized and encountered the future prospect.The system is developed in Windows XP environment using visual C++6.0as theprimary tool, the database is created, accessed and updated by using ADO programming modeland SQL query language to complete entry and query functions of teacher information, andapplied to the college teacher information management. The system is simple, easy,friendlyrunning reliable.
