Along with the rapid development of Internet of Things, car networking has also been widespread concern. Most of the domestic car terminals are based on WINCE system, due to the limitations of their systems closed and their functions is difficult in the field of vehicle networking greatly developed, based on the operating system of open, intelligent vehicle terminal developed to become a hot topic of research and development of vehicle terminal. Android-based in-vehicle terminal is in the development of a new generation of Mobile Terminal product on the basis of the Android system. The Android system is a Linux kernel development, open source operating system, and supports a rich set of hardware resources, a wide range of applications, a large number of network protocols and a dedicated touch design, these characteristics determine that it will inevitably become car mainstream operating system for mobile terminals.This topic is the main features of the mobile vehicle terminal system, a vehicle terminal design based on the ARM11and Android system. According to the demand for vehicle terminal system analysis we will be its main function is divided into information services, information collection, vehicle navigation and positioning, in-car multimedia services, vehicle networking, car safety, driving assistance, parking guide. This function on the basis of its hardware and software system design, a detailed analysis of the key technologies and the system to do a more in-depth study.The hardware system design including the selection of processor and peripheral chips, the design of data storage, GPS positioning module design. Software system design mainly includes three aspects:First, the design of the boot program and the underlying driver, the boot loader is responsible for initializing the hardware, to guide the operation of the system and the need to complete the corresponding function. The underlying driver is a bridge between the top software and hardware, the upper level software driver to control the underlying hardware to complete the corresponding function; system software design, including the development of the system architecture and the hardware abstraction layer; application design, the vehicle terminal window to the user operation.Hardware and software system design problems, the key technologies in the system for further analysis.
