The Design And Implementation Of Newsreader Client Based On The IPad

This topic comes from a company’s actual project. The company is a leading China-based Internet technology company with web portal and E-mail as main internet products. With advanced technology and high quality service, the company is praised by the majority of Internet users. In recent years, the company simultaneous develops mobile Internet products and many mobile applications maintain a leading position.As an important part of mobile application product line, the newsreader client based iPad will play a key role in the development of the company. The high-end news reading experience is brought to users through user-friendly interaction and outstanding program with the company’s own news resources and excellent iPad performance.In the process of the project, the development of functional modules such as news-reading, comment, vote and SNS sharing are completed independently, and the development of modules such as pictures and weather areassisted. Most important modules are introduced and analyzed in this paper.With functionalrequirements, program development framework based Cocoa Touch and software structure based MVC are determined. According to Apple development standard and software actual requirement, the multi-function news reader client is developed with custom user interface and innovative interaction.This paper introduces the design process, basic technology and requirement analysis. The development details of news-reading module, comment module and vote module and elaborated. Additionally, data persistence and memory management are discussed in this paper.
