The Design And Implementation Of Beijing Railway Police Checking And Recording System

The railway police are a special type of police force, under the leadership of the Chinese Ministry of Railways, carrying out the national rail transport regulations. Police informatization has been developed for years in china, a marked progress has made, yet an information system aimed on meet with the particular need of railway police has not emerged. During the annual Spring Festival, there are two difficult points trouble the railway police most, the fight against ticket-scalpers, and the order-maintenance of the train station. Aimed on meet with the requirements of Beijing Railway Police Department, to explore a path of informationalization of railway police, tailoring to the needs of railway police, the development team (which author worked in) developed a prototype system on the basis of the current police work of the public security section of Beijing Railway Station, namely Beijing railway police checking and recording system. The system is an integrated police system developed according to the daily work habits of railway police and the needs of informatization. In addition to meet the needs of daily work of policeman, the system can also crystallize the work duties, optimize the workflow, and improve the work efficiency.In this paper a survey is conducted on the daily police work at Beijing Railway Station, an object-oriented method is used during the design and realization of the system. Functions which can solve the problems in the work of railway police are realized, such as train passengers checking, station order maintenance, ticket scalpers discovering, escaped criminals alert. In this project, author conducted the business analysis and requirements analysis, completed the system design, the detailed design and the realization of the subsystem on mobile device independently.A test run is launched during the Spring Festival2011in Beijing Railway Station and Beijing West Railway Station, and sound results are achieved. During the40days of the test run, nearly400thousands valid records are collected by the112units of mobile equipment deployed in Beijing Railway Station,83scalp suspects are discovered. the design of the system has been proofed by user, a good foundation for further development is laid.
