The Research On The Acquisition Of Museum’s Collection Information

The collection is the material basis of the museum, and the premise of achievement of the museum collecting, research and education functions. Therefore the practice of the collection information acquisition in the Museum is very important. With the development of computer technology, the raising expectation of the museum audience and emphasis on the collection information acquisition work of which the museum professionals do, the traditional museum collections information acquisition mode can no longer satisfy the needs of the audience and museum professionals. For solving the problems effectively, the collection information computer acquisition mode based on computer technology emerges in the museum. However, most of the collection information acquisition methods and the organizing forms of the collection information still continues to follow the traditional manual acquisition mode, affected the improvement of efficiency of the collection information acquisition in the museum. Consequently, the research of the collections information is very significant in the museum. The first part introduces the based concepts of the collection information acquisition in the museum and reviews the history of the condition for researching domestic and international museum’s collection information acquisition. By analyzing the typical case of the mature acquisition computerizing mode’s functionality and quality in American museums’ collections information acquisition, the forth part proposes the domestic museums should solve the problems of the collection information acquisition, by perfecting the standards of the collection information acquisition, strengthening the study of the collection information acquisition software, bettering the personnel training mechanism of the collections information acquisition, and improving the processing technology of the collection information, to and promote the acquisition of collection information, thus give impetus to the collection of information sharing.
