The topic of this thesis comes from the digital image processing system, the article introduces the master part of the system, and its software, hardware features, implementation are discussed. The main body of the whole system is divided into the MATLAB-based remote controller, the FPGA-based slave machine part and the MFC-based master part. The remote controller section provides the original image data, receives the processing results from the master part and controls the master part and the slave part running. The slave machine part of the digital image system is the algorithm implementation part. The master part completes the acquisition of the algorithm results as well as displaying and storing, and uploading of the results to the remote controller. Between the master part and the slave machine part, communication is through RS422serial port and high-speed LVDS interface. Communication with the remote controller, the master part uses the Ethernet interface based on TCP/IP protocol using the software method of Windows Sockets.The master part uses MFC to design the interactive interface and uses Ethernet interface to receive the original image data and the control commands from the remote controller. Then the original image data will be sent to the slave machine through the LVDS board, and the control commands through the RS-422. So, indirectly, the slave machine is remotely controlled by the remote controller. And the master computer uploads the capture process image data from the slave machine using LVDS image acquisition card--PCI-1424high-speed image data acquisition, and the track process target coordinates using the RS422serial port. The storage of these two operations results is based on the uncompressed bitmap format. Meanwhile, the software interface of the master computer can also real-timely display the results uploaded by the slave machine. They are all displayed on the form of image, so the system realizes the image display function. The master computer in the process of the original image data receiving from the remote controller and the RS422serial communication with the slave machine part, uses the multi-threading technology to improve the efficiency of the system. The debugging of the system has completed, and the entire system, various functions can be achieved. The result of the operation can also be correctly obtained. The operation of the whole system is also very stable.
