Control of marine power station is the basis of the marine electric power system. In the marine electric power system control aspects, the static and dynamic characteristics of the marine electric power system are determined by the control characteristics of diesel engine generator set. Therefore, the control of diesel engine generator set became an important role in the control of the marine electric power system.In this paper, the control of diesel engine speed regulation system, synchronous generator voltage regulation system, diesel generator set system and other key issues are deeply studied. Firstly, the structure of diesel engine speed regulation system, synchronous generator voltage regulation system and diesel generator set system are analyzed, and which models are established. By means of SIMULINK model in MATLAB simulate these controlled objects and analyze the simulation results. Secondly, the research of PID control theory and fuzzy logic control theory. The fuzzy self-tuning PID control method is designed, which combines the classical PID control with the fuzzy control theory of these two complementary advantages. Considering the characteristics of marine power station system in this paper, fuzzy self-tuning PID controller is applied to marine power station of diesel generator set control system. And fuzzy self-tuning PID of speed controller, fuzzy self-tuning PID of synchronous generator voltage regulator controller and fuzzy self-tuning PID of diesel generator sets are respectively designed. On this basis, a lot of simulation comparison tests by SIMULINK results are analyzed, which include traditional PID controller, fuzzy controller, fuzzy+I controller, fuzzy PID dual-mode controller and fuzzy self-tuning PID controller. The simulation results show that the controller which is designed by fuzzy self-tuning PID control theory not only can improve the quality of power supply marine power station and reliability, but also ameliorate the anti-interference ability of the marine power station.Finally, considering about the frequency and rapidity of the load change in the marine power station system, which result in voltage instability and grid frequency fluctuation of the marine. Thereby, the safe operation of the marine is seriously affected. In view of this situation, it is necessary to compensate for the load disturbance to suppress the interference of marine power station. The disturbance feed-forward compensation control method is applied for improving the comprehensive performance of marine electric power system in this paper. The fuzzy neural network controller is designed by the organic combining with the fuzzy logic control and neural network control, which implement the feed-forward compensation of load disturbance in marine power station model. The simulation results show that the control method can improve the compensation performance of the dynamic interference for the marine power station.
