With the rapid development of mobile networks, growth of network size, and increase of mobile users, network quality has drawn more and more attention. To provide users with mobile communication services anytime, anywhere and under any conditions, it requires carriers to regard "full coverage" as a very important part during their continuous improvement of services. People hope to communication via mobile network and even enjoy the fun come with mobile online surfing in subway. Thus, coverage of mobile signal in subway becomes increasingly important. On the basis of introducing the TD-SCDMA network theory and the composition of indoor coverage system, this paper gives a detailed analysis of the current status of Beijing subway system, offers some guiding principles of how to build TD-SCDMA system in subway. Subway station has significant differences compared with general buildings:it includes difference terrains such as platform, walkways, and tunnels. To deal them, we need to customize the design of indoor distribution system:cover platform and pedestrian walk with antenna points, and cover subway tunnels with leaky coaxial cable. This paper also gives accurate definitions about subway capacity, coverage, switching and other requirements. In the end this paper uses Beijing subway line 4 as an example, by making phone calls as testing method and using background software to trace, verified the quality of TD-SCDMA indoor distribution system and the situation of lose connection. This paper gives detailed analysis of problems found during testing, then proposed solutions.
