Research And Implemention Of Methods Of Modeling MMS And Streming Services

With the data services have grown rapidly recent years and 3G network can provide much higher transmission rate, mobile network will support much more kinds of data services. Research of modeling data services has been caused much attention recently. After modeling data services, technicians and equipment manufacturers can make a deep understanding about characteristics and rules of data services. It is good for operators to develop level of network and service. But most of the traditional methods of modeling data services are based on mathematical analysis and simulation analysis without verifying of practice data.This paper is based on the project of modeling and forecasting of mobile data services. After analyzing characteristics of MMS and STREAMING, different business models has been proposed according to different services and those business models has been verified with practice data caught from Iu-Ps interface.This paper first gives an introduction of MMS and STREAMING about network architecture, protocols and business processes. Then a three-layer model has been proposed according to feature of data services and definitions of these indicators of this model are given. After that the business model has been verified with practice data and the result has also been shown. Finally this paper extends the research and introduces concept of QoE. Different indicators of QoE have been proposed according to different types of data services and formula of QoE indicators has also been given.
