With the rapid development of computer technology and the increasing demand for services on location, real-time location information becomes one of the thirstiest information. Location-based services apply real-time and useful location information to users. An important application of Location-based services is map service system. But the current map service systems are mainly for outdoor use, and indoor map service system is still at beginning. Indoor map service system is used in large indoor buildings (such as shopping malls, convention centers and airports). It provides users with location search, information search, location information sharing, navigation and other map services. The point of this thesis is to design and implement the indoor map service system’s data management system.This thesis first discusses the content of location-based service (LBS) and geographic information system (GIS), and then discusses the indoor map service system, including requirement analysis, system structure, module design and database design. And then the paper focuses on the realization of the data management system, and gives details of how to solve a difficult point in the system design:open API. Open API is called and pass parameters through URL and encrypt parameters, the parameters is processed to achieve the corresponding functions on the server side. At the end of the thesis is the testing and analysis of the system. It discusses the test programs and test results, then analyzes and summarizes the results.Indoor map service system is now on-line. It can provide users better service in large shopping malls such as navigations and shopping guide. Indoor map service is feature-rich, broad market demand, and therefore it can be of great commercial value.
