Steel Shear Processing Center System And E-commerce Platform Integration

In recent years, with the development of steel cutting & processing industries, Shanghai BaoSteel International Economic & Trading Corporation Ltd, (referred to below as Baosteel International) has established many Steel Cutting & Processing Centers (SCPC) in 22 provinces and cities in China. BaoSteel International developed its very own ERP for the SCPC by information technology. Through monitoring the material, capital and information flow within these SCPC to manage them.BaoSteel International has established an E-commerce platform. In the Baosteel’s marketing supply chain, the SCPC is the closest part to the customer. The development and service of the SCPC affected the ability of supply chain services.The thesis was combined theory with practice, used the knowledge of E-commerce, Supply Chain Management and Enterprise Resource Planning, based on the construction of the actual information system of SCPC, the thesis studies in the data sharing and the interactive mode between the integrated systems, and proposes a solution of integrating the ERP system and the E-commerce platform according to the features of SCPC.The thesis emphasizes the study on the fundamental principles of the Web Service, and the application scenarios of the Web Service call by PowerBuilder. According some tests, that introduces the definition of the interface, the encapsulation mode of date, the establishment of interface correspondent, to prove the thesis concludes the rationality and feasibility of the solution. Through a complete, fast, accurate and efficient means to provide services to customers of SCPC, to support the e-commerce services of SCPC, to improve business processes of SCPC. This paper summed up by how to improve services by means of information in SCPC.
