Digital publishing era spawned a network of reading and mobile readingand to promote them to flourish, the traditional paper version of the best-sellingbook ushered in the digital publishing best-selling book of fierce competition.Today, the best-selling book in the new pattern has been formed, the traditionalbest-selling book, best-selling book of mobile phone and network to read likethe three pillars of the best-selling book co-occupy the market. The spread ofthe traditional best-selling book on the Internet, mobile phones and other newmedia and digital publishing technology has long been driven by thedevelopment of cross-media communication. Spread of best-selling book inthe face of these revolutionary changes, cross-media dissemination ofbest-selling book will become a hot topic in the next best-selling books anddigital publishing research.In this paper, the theory of communication, the use of comparativeanalysis, qualitative analysis, quantitative analysis, with particular emphasis ontheoretical analysis and case study method of combining, the best-selling bookof the systematic study of cross-media communication.Text is divided into six parts. The first part is the introduction, this papersummarized the research background of times, introduces its research ideas,research methods and innovations. The second part of the paper defines therelevant concepts and elements from the transmission characteristics of boththe analysis and dissemination of best-selling book of the cross-mediacommunication. The third part outlines the best-seller status of cross-mediacommunication: about half of the entity has achieved best-seller cross-mediacommunication, more and more original network entity also began publishingliterature, but the same books in the spread of cross-media can not beachieved in different media in the same degree of selling. Part Vfocuses on analysis of best-selling book of the social function of cross-mediacommunication, best-selling book is the product of mass culture, thedissemination of best-selling books belong to the scope of masscommunication, dissemination of best-selling book not only has the socialfunction of the value of academic research on the modern publishing industryalso has important practical significance. Part VI outlines the conclusions ofthis study.
