On the basic of studying with pulse magnetic core performance test theory, this paper designthe pulse magnetic core dynamic performance test system combined with the actual situation.In thetesting system, we take the sine wave signal which’s frequency is from 10 kHz to 200kHz as theinspiriting signal to the magnetic core. Then the system can test the performance of the magneticcore by the signal processing circuits, and after these data are processed by the software, thehysteresis loop of magnetic core is displayed on the computer, also these are showed, the maximumvalue of magnetic induction Bm and magnetic field strength Hm, remnant magnetization Br,coercive force Hc and so on. In this system, we use the FPGA and the EZ-USB FX2 single chip todesign a High-Speed sampling and transmission system. It has the USB’s characters that are highspeed, expanding easily, plug and play conveniently. These characters solve the problem thatUART’s slow speed can’t fulfill the requirement of the High-Speed equipments’development. So itcan realize a sampling and transmiting system which is low cost and high reliability easily.The whole system is divided into two parts, circuits and software. The hardware circuitsconsist of sine wave signal generator, power amplify, B,H signal processing circuits, signalsampling circuits and signal transmission circuits based on USB 2.0. The software design includesthe programs for LC and PC.The programs for LC are composed of FPGA’s control code, EZ-USBFX2’s firmware code and the control code for sine wave source and PGA. The programs for PC canaccomplish receiving data from the LC, analyzing the data and drawing the hysteresis loop of thepulse magnetic core.In the end of this paper, we describe the testing results of the MnZn ferrite ring and analyze thetesting results by comparing them with the other results which is tested in other instruments. Fromthe analyzing results, this system completes the testing of the performance of pulse magnetic core,when the frequence of the inspiriting signal is from 1kHz to 200kHz. The testing results satisfy therequirement of designing. In this paper, we put forward an economic, simple and convenient testingsystem of the magnetic core’s performance. It can reduce the cost and improve the quality of themagnetic core to make this system be used widely.
