The Research Of Relevant Issues About Shuo Yuan And Unearthed Documents

As an important literature of ancient China, ShuoYuan’s materials are extensive, and it has the close relationship with the Pre-Qin and Han philosophers books, and other ancient literature, it has important research value. ShuoYuan collecting many precious materials, some of which can be found in other ancient documents and some of which only be found in the ShuoYuan is some fragments having been lost ancient texts, and it has important significance on the consolidation of ancient books, the research of academic history and history of thought. Before the modern unearthed documents were found, previous scholars mainly have given priority to literature handed down on the research of ShuoYuan. Scholars have reached a considerable height, but there is still a supplementary study conducted in space. With the unearthed documents having been found, they not only have provided us with many new materials on ShuoYuan’s research, but also provided us with a new perspective.This paper spreads out discussion to the related issues of ShuoYuan, which bases on relevant unearthed documents and literature handed down. The full text is divided into four parts:The introduction summarises the research purpose, significance, related research status and writing reason of the paper; The first chapter enumerates the unearthed literature as seen in related materials of ShuoYuan, using these materials to explore the nature of collection of materials of ShuoYuan, then we get the conclusion that collection of materials of ShuoYuan has a compilation of nature, which embodied the primitiveness and extensiveness; The second chapter discusses related problems involing Shuo Yuan, which mainly based on ShangBoJian, GuoDianJian, Silk Book of Mawangdui, and Qin bamboo slips of ShuiHuDi unearthed documents. It re-discusses Confucius poetics theory and points out that Confucius on poetry not only has traditionally thought of practical,emphasis on the side of utility, at the same time he also has the aesthetic characteristics of itself, artistic significance of reading side, which base on KongZiShiLun in ShangBojian and the content of Poetry from ShuoYuan; it combs "QiongDaYiShi","TianRenYouFen","RenWeiGui" three concepts in the course of recurrence, and points out the source of the basis of "RenWeiGui" thinking, which bases on the relevant contents of the articles called QiongDaYiShi and the similar contents from ShuoYuan;it discusses the origin of the reference books and indicates that ShuoYuan is source of reference books compiling, which bases on the contents and styles between the article called Cheng in Silk Book of Mawangdui and the article called TanCong in ShuoYuan,at the same time, the related unearthed documents such as the article called YuCong in GuoDianjian and WeiLiZhiDao in Qin bamboo slips of ShuiHuDi will give evidence. In the third chapter, unearthed documents as the object of investigation, explore value of philology of ShuoYuan, and points out that it has unique significance on Collenction, Collating and Distinguishing.
