Laser-beam riding guided sighting instrument is one of important parts ofLaser-beam riding guided system, of which optical system mainly consist of sightingmodule and laser-beam guided module. The paper introduces the operating principleof laser-beam riding guided system, and systematically analyzes the influence of laserthrough atmosphere channel. The optical system of sighting module and laser-beamguided module are designed respectively by parameter requirement. The method ofchange angles for modulation disk design, improve the guided precision. Mechanicalcompensation model of zooming optical system is designed which reduces the opticalaxis and image drift during zoom. According to Gauss optical calculation for zoomingsystem, choose a reasonable initial structure, correct aberration with ZEMAX, andmake tolerance analysis after image quality ok, present an appropriate manufacturetolerance for meeting practical application.
