With the rapid development of computer technology, smart mobile devices have become popular, digital and mobile business management is affecting people’s work and life. The health management system ran on the Android client-side, provided a convenient way for people’s daily health monitoring, and realized personal health management at all times and places.This paper detailed introduction the system architecture and functional modules design, database construction and the realization process of platform function.1. The overall architecture and functional modules design. The architecture between Android client-side and server-side was designed by using the model of "desktop client&application server&database server". According to the needs of the user’s analysis, the four functional modules of measurement record, health examination records, reservation services and online activities were developed in detail.2. The database construction. The system database was built in accordance with the general principles of database design, the data sheets of the function module were devised, and the data models were plotted.3. The realization of trends. Client-side framework was designed by using MVC model. The charts of measuring trend were generated by utilizing the AChartEngine of Android Chart Engine, and the data visualization of trend analysis function was realized. Through adopting Web Service technology, data exchange between Android client and server-side was achieved, and interactive access to database was accomplished.4. The fulfillment of other functional modules. Asynchronous loading health messages’ images of online activities module were achieved by utilizing Android multi-threaded and Handler-Message mechanism. The incident response of the button in listview was realized by using the Android BaseAdapter in previous report module. Finally, the historical data of database system was transferred by using dynamically generated data sheet, and the problem of the slowly accessed data was resolved.Client-side in health management system prototype based on Android Platform has been completed, and has achieved the desired results, which indicated that the technical solution of the system was reasonable and the measures to solve the problem were feasible.
