Motion capture can get nature human behavior. Along with the development of film, video game, more and more motion capture data is needed. But the data collect from motion capture cannot reuse or not easy to reuse. The motion capture data is only used for specific environment, when environment is changed, the data cannot use follow the new environment. Consider these reasons, when use motion capture data for the business, it is a waste time and money. So how to reuse the motion capture data is a hot issue in computer graphic sphere.Nowadays, there are two methods for reuse motion capture data, motion edit and motion compound. Motion edit method is used for a given motion clip, and edit it suit to new3D environment. Motion compound method concentrate how to compound several given motion data and generate new motion for specific use.This paper studies a motion compound technology which is based on interpolation. First, we used the example motion captured from human to establish a motion database. Second, establish parameter space, according the parameter which is given by player choosing the points which have the closest distance from the given point. Third, interpolate the selected motion to generate new motion what is the player wanted. This technology can be used in video game, film, and education.This procedure is performing on VS2008, use VC++and OpenGL to display the motion. In this procedure, player can use the keyboard control the character’s behavior. This procedure achieves a goal that includes motion interpolation, blending, and splitting function. This procedure can be used for future research.
