Augmented Reality (Augmented Reality, or AR) technology is the development and extension of thedigital technology, virtual reality technology (Virtual Reality, VR), a new stage. By informationtransmission and processing of real-time video image, virtual information superimposed onto the real world,real world and virtual information in real time superimposed on the same screen or space exist, interactivethree-dimensional image screen for the user The real new experience and feelings. It has to enhance thedisplay output characteristics of the real environment, Augmented Reality technology to have broadprospects for development.The significance of Augmented Reality Teaching and Learning, at the theoretical level, the applicationof augmented reality technology in teaching, create an experience and immersive learning environment forlearners to achieve the purpose of knowledge construction. Augmented Reality by passing the acceptance,individual counseling, discussion, exploration and self-learning, classroom teaching and problem solving,using technology to promote students’ learning. On a practical level, to carry out the instructionalapplication of augmented reality technology to provide more possibilities for the diversification of teachingform; instructional application of augmented reality technology, and also provide a theoretical basis andpractical experience for educational technology and equipment developers to develop a more scientific andrational teaching equipment and software systems.On the basis of the characteristics of augmented reality technology, and teaching the application ofaugmented reality technology, the use of a combination of literature and experimental studies to exploreaugmented reality technology in teaching practice what to do and what to do problems.Firstly, the analysis of augmented reality technology principle on the basis of characteristics, the typeof technology and implementation, based on situated cognition and learning theory, flow theory, the theoryof multiple intelligences, social constructivism learning theory and collaborative learning theory,summarized enhanced reality technology the value of education and teaching, noting that enhanced realitytechnology as learners new learning tool, not only to provide teachers and students face-to-facecommunication and cooperation platform, they can also increase students’ understanding of the complexspatial concepts and their relative relationship. Secondly, in the comprehensive analysis of various factors on the basis of teaching the application ofaugmented reality technology strategy: the use of augmented reality technology to create educationalscenarios; the use of augmented reality technology innovation in teaching mode; the use of augmentedreality technology to enhance classroom instruction; augmented reality technology to expand students’learning space; the use of augmented reality game to extra-curricular activities; and the use of augmentedreality technology used to enhance the task of collaboration.Secondly, this paper discusses the needs of modern education technology, augmented realitytechnology to support the five teaching model: pass receptive Teaching model, individual counselingteaching model, discuss the teaching model, to explore the teaching model and the self-learning model.Finally, through enhanced reality technology to support teaching cases, confirmed the augmentedreality technology for teaching reform of great significance, has wide application prospects in the teachingfield and value in use. To promote the teaching applications of augmented reality, the use of enhancedreality technology-assisted education and teaching, because the person, scientific planning, coordinationarrangements, in order to better bring to achieve educational results optimization.
