When the aging of the population in the worldwide spreads quietly, at thesame time, the modern information society grows up towards the directionmostly fulfilling the needs of the young. After twenty-first Century, thisphenomenon is particularly apparent. With hundreds of millions of users,worldwide powerful new media-Internet, has revolutionized people’s life.Through the Internet, people can browse information whenever and whereverpossible, instantly upload and share what one sees and hears, realize chatting byonline television and telephone conference, and can buy tickets and do shopping" remain within doors". However, older age groups with a strong social"experience" and "wisdom", was quietly brought to "the brim of community ",and they are more and more far from the modern life of science and technology.Explosive growth of online-shopping, brings new opportunities and challenges tothe shopping ways of the elderly people. Obviously, most of the high-endproducts and Multi-Touch such as Iphone and Ipad, were not belong to theelderly. How to turn this Crisis into the Opportunity to overcome the currentdilemma and make the elderly enjoy the new life of technology?The explosive growth of online shopping has become the opportunity ofsubject of study and development, as to bring shopping way of the elderly newopportunities and challenges. In this paper, under the background of the agingsociety, with the difficulties which the elderly encountered when shopping online,combining the latest fashion shopping way:" online shopping", the study try toexplain the" shopping website interface for the elderly" from the perspective ofthe visual arts. Hope that, through the study of this topic, to improve therelationship between products and the elderly in this information age, shorteningthe distance between them, so that the elderly, the web products of informationage, and the shopping way are harmonious, making the distance between the elder and modern information society short.In the research and development process, through the elderly-related datacollection, analysis, comparison, combination of older people’s psychological,physiological, social factors such as the characteristics, on the basis of cognitivepsychology, ergonomics, design and art theory, summed up for the principles ofinterface design, and then try to the use of modern digital graphic design, art,language, completing an shopping website interface design for the elderly.Study of shopping website interface for the elderly is mainly on the basis ofthe "humanized" to construct "harmonious interface". Considering the elderlypopulation physiological function and psychological factors, in the process ofinteractive interface design, mainly study the simplicity of interface, easyoperation and easy identification. In addition, because this subject and networkare closely related, people in50-60years old are defined.The main research process of this article is: Based on the investigation fromreal background, around the "difficulties of shopping online for the old people",the study try to design the shopping website interface correctly. First of all, it’san in-depth analysis of group structure of the old people, characteristics, lifestyle, market potential and network relations; Secondly, study of relatedknowledge of the website interface, including the overview, history, humanizeddesign and visual design; The humanized design content includes: cognitivefriction in the interface design, user experience and the human factor. Visualdesign elements include: metaphor, the information interface design, icon designand layout design; Third, the design on shopping website interface for the oldpeople aimed at the old people’s behavior characteristics, by the Web2.0webpage features and interface message.
