The Design And Implementation Of Students Information Management System Based On GIS

The geographic information system as a special information system integrates withgeographic spatial character and different statistical information has been applied extensivelyin almost every field Such as the city planning，the management of environment resources, theprotection of ecological environment and etc.．Along with the wide applications of the IT inthe field of information management more and more, information management system hasmatured gradually at the implementation aspects. Student management information system isa new field which developing continuously, the all existing student management informationsystems are non-spatial information management system, this paper demonstrates the mainframework of the spatial student information management system primarily. Thus, it can begetting relationships among students information with special meaning.This paper introduces the framework of spatial information management system at theplatform of the Visual Basic6.0with GIS component of Mapx5. The designing of students’spatial information management system include feasibility analysis, business process analysisetc. System design section mainly introduced the system function design, database design andcoding design; System realizing section includes several modules which illustrate therealizing algorithms.
