With satellite communications, the rapid development of phased array radar andelectronic warfare systems, the output power of microwave systems have becomeincreasingly demanding, high output power means longer communication distanceand a stronger anti-interference ability. In the system of microwave circuits,microwave power source is the core component of the microwave transmissionsystem, but the output power of a single solid-state devices is always a certain limit,which requires power synthesis technology.Through research synthesis method on a variety of power, domestic and foreigncommon power synthesis technology, from chip power combiner circuit powersynthesis of spatial power combining, clarifying the significance of high-powersynthesis technology and development trends. Combined with the actual level oftechnology, solid-state power circuit for the main object of study, exploratory study,design a new structure power divider/combiner circuit power combining devices andsynthetic network system. The contents of this article include the following:(1) On the basis of detailed study at home and abroad a variety of solid-statepower synthesis technology, combined with the technological level of domesticprocessing and assembly, and proposed implementation plan based on a microstripline circuit power combiner structure.(2) Using microstrip circuit design two-way microstrip power combiner circuit,through theoretical calculations show that: transmission coefficient within thefrequency band to achieve41.2dB. The test shows that: greater than40dBm outputpower within the band, the flatness of less than1dBm standing wave ratio (VSWR) isless than1.4, the insertion loss is less than1dB and isolation better than20dB. Andthe power combiner network has a good thermal performance.
