Characteristics Analysis Of China’s International Cooperation Literature On SSCI

Since the research of social science has been increasingly developed, the internationalsocial science research is turned to be a trend. It is very broad for the concept of internationalresearch, the scientists who are from different countries should interatively exchange andcooperate it with each other equally through diverse aspects like researchers, institutions,forms, projects, contents, methods, funding,etc. As a result, countries can seek their commondevelopment and fix their shortcomings. International cooperation has already become animportant part of current scientific development for countries on earth, some developedcountries, according to the needs of decision making in science, regularly fund theinternational cooperation of evaluation research and provide the basis for scientific policy sothat they can achieve the maximum benefit in the development of international cooperationand seize the initiative. On the other hand, relying on SSCI, comprehensively andsystematically mining and measuring the cooperation data of international literature fromwhich we can finally make us get useful information has been the forefront of theinternational cooperation research. Also, one important factor to increase the intersity ofinternational cooperation is to seize the academic power around the world.In my article, the feasibility and necessity of the research topic which is internationalcooperation literature of SSCI can be ensured. First, it analyzes data which has beenpreprocessed and combines with multiple indicators of bibliometric way to portray variousaspects of literature’s amount, like literature characteristics’ changing over time, subjects,partner, and leading position, to identify the changes and cooperation trend with respect tothose four perspectives from1992to2011. Besides, it helps us to understand the currentstatus of China’s cooperation literature, determines the value of literature, and masters thetime point which can lead the change of literature’s amount, the characteristics of ourstrength subject, the number of partner, ways of cooperation, cooperation countries and thecharacteristics of literature of which first author is from China or other countries. Afteranalyzing the characteristics from amount’s perspective, it researches on the quality ofliterature. In this part, it is aiming at the research of citation frequency and impact factor, according these two indice, the evaluation of cooperation literature and its value has beendetermined from the perspective of time and discipline. Then through the analysis ofvariance, we finally get the quality characteristics. The purpose of quality research is tomaster the status, the position of cooperation literature in order to be sure of the futureresearch of quality and cooperation literature and to encourage scholars to positivelyparticipate in the publishment. Finally, the conclusion of thesis and reasonable suggestionsfor future research has been proposed.
