During the process of service delivery, there may be some cases encountered, such as human error, delay and so on. In addition, the exception or termination caused by the huge traffic may be also encountered by the service product. In order to reduce the problems caused by human error, some scripts can be created to make some of the process achieved automatically. For reducing the pressure on the server, the Load Balancing can be implemented by increasing the number of the servers and configuring the request distribution rules. However, the scripts need to be manually created, and the changing loads may waste the server resources.Based on IWD(IBM Workload Deployer) which is one of the PAAS(Platform As A Service) products of IBM, the improved methods are proposed through analyzing the problems for dynamic resource allocation, automatic operations and standard configuration. During the development of the methods, the author is in charge of the analysis, design and implementation of the business functions. Specific methods are as follows:Firstly, based on the cloud concept, considering the real requirement of the IBM products, the service delivery environment with deployment, destruction and monitoring functions, is designed and implemented. In the environment, dynamic resource allocation, the network resources management, deploying multiple services concurrently, configuring the network information concurrently and the real-time obtaining of the virtual resources are supported by the service deployment; Virtual resources recycling is supported by the service destruction. Based on the environment, customers can manage the service delivery and monitoring more easily.Secondly, the DevOps flow supported by service delivery environment is designed and implemented. With the DevOps flow, the process, from the development to the delivery, can be managed by the customer. In the process, source code downloading, building, unit testing, packing, creating pattern and service deployment are involved.The solution described in the thesis had been used in the Ningbo Smart Logistics System and another product named SDE(SAAS Delivery Environment) of IBM.
