Piping arrangement plan also called pipeline installation diagram, It is mainly used toexpress the spatial location, size and specifications of pipes and pipe fittings, valves, metercontrol point which are in workshop or device, and connections among the relatedequipments. It is the important basis of building and pipeline installation construction ofthe factory. At present, the design work of piping layout mostly uses the AutoCADsoftware as platform, using two-dimensional design method. Because of the complex ofpipeline structure and mutual occlusion in space, the difficulty of the precise estimation ofspace size, and hard to understand the two dimensional drawings, the design errors aredifficult to be found until construct, which caused serious consequences for engineeringconstruction. At the same time, it is also not convenience to the rebuilding or expansion ofthe project. Compared with2D design,3D design more clearly reflects the space directionand connection relation of pipelines, and can make the piping design layout morereasonably and economically; It can avoid the collision effectively; It can reduce thedevice investment and the costs of maintenance and repair; It is benefit to theconsideration of the needs of operation, inspection, and safety truly and objectively.At present, it is necessary to carry out the3D solid reconstruction for the large numberof the electronic drawing of two dimensional piping layouts which exist in engineeringand factory. The three dimensional piping arrangement effects is not only important for thefactory3D piping layout design but also has important significance to the development of3D CAD technology application that converse them automatically in batch, realizing3Dentity piping layout effect of the engineering or factory workshop,letting the user see thereal design results directly.This article mainly study the key development technology of the3D solidreconstruction system of two-dimensional piping layout in detail, contents as follows:1)research on the algorithm of two dimensional pipeline reconstruction;2) research on theoverall structure and the realization method of three-dimensional reconstruction system;3)research on the method for building the corresponding3D graphics library;4) research onthe three dimensional reconstruction examples;5)interface design of3D reconstructionsystem. Through the key technology research of the above several aspects, this article hasmade an important substance foundation for the automatic and intelligent of thesubsequent3D reconstruction.
