Piping design is a very complicated engineering design.it is significant to realize piping CAD system on the personal computer.By applying the theory of software design and AutoCAD techinique, this paper realize piping figure device system, and elaborate how to analyze,design and implement pipingdigram drawing system in the field of chemical engineering.Pipingdigram drawing system is a 2-dimension plane AutoCAD system for making and designing piping figure.its funtion include drawing pipeline, inserting valve on the pipeline,inserting pipe fitting on the pipeline,adding pipe symbol,compilation funtion,setting system environment.The paper use the software design method of stepwise refinement and object-oriented apart to fulfill those foutions.The paper extend the entity database by AutoLISP language ,saving pipe data into the entity database successfully.After running,the system can identify the diameter and pressclass of pipeline in the piping figure,and form the corresponding graph by calling the data files.Then it realizes intelligence graph device partly.Using the system to draw piping figure,can enhance far and away drawing velocity .Furthmore we may develop the system of 3-dimension chemical engineering pipeline design on the basis of it,thereby it disencumbers the pipeline designer of device manually and achieves computerizing plan really.
