The reliable transmission of data is an important index in the telemetry and tele-controlsystem. However, the communication channel in the telemetry and tele-control system Oftenstays in deep space area, the complex terrain of regions, affecting heavily by all kinds ofinterference.Thus the reliability of the data transmission is difficult to obtain the guarantee.There are many advantages in terms of the Spread-Spectrum communication technology, likeanti- intercept and capture, multi-path protection. Therefore, this technology is an effectivemeans to ensure the reliable data transmission. This paper makes a mainly investigation ofprogrammable baseband spread spectrum module based on the integrated chips. Functiondesign can be programmable ,and meanwhile it can quickly build direct sequence spreadspectrum system,flexibly used in the telemetry and tele-control system,minetunnel communication etc.According to the research background, basing on the telemetry controltechnology,spread spectrum communication technology and the current situation of the ASICchip.According to the technical indicators of the module, the author makes a detaileddiscussion towards the component unit and the ideas of design in the general. In the design ofthe module hardware, this passage focuses on the data pre-processing unit,Spread-Spectrum communication unit, and the USB data transmission unit,highlighting theProgrammable functions of the module. Meanwhile, this dissertation illustrated vividly onthe design of hardware interface circuit. Basing on the design of the hardware circuit, theauthor further investigates the general design of the module software, and completesthe register configuration program,data spread spectrum , and the data dispreading interrupthandler, and gives a heated discussion on the parameters of register configuration of thespread spectrum unit.According to the results,the design of the programmable baseband SpreadSpectrum module maintains the characteristics of programmable function and flexibility, reaching the anticipated design of Spread spectrum code rate and its related indicators .Thusthe function that was expected can be obtained.
