With the rapid development of data services, network traffic is in transition from TDM service to packet data service. Business transformation drives technology innovation. Packet transport network as a new generation of transimission technology, not only a good carrier-class Ethernet services, and taking into account the traditional TDM and ATM services, has become the core of transport network technology.However, network construction and innovation must consider the existing network evolving process, there is bound to have a coexistence of mature multi service platform and packet transport network.This paper forcuses on PTN network models, management and maintenance, analyzes PTN OAM mechanism and mixed network end to end service assurance programme.First, according to PTN network technology and its positioning in the metro area, this article discusses PTN network planning and design principle in the evolution process, brings up different modes of network structure based on different business needs and network resources.Secondly, this paper deeply analyzes PTN OAM mechanism, designs process flow for fault management and performance monitoring associated OAM, proposed PTN OAM processing device node for the model.Finally, this paper analyzes different business characteristics in current network, makes a typical mixed network scenarios. On this basis abstract mixed network OAM management domain model, designs hybrid network OAM interoperability solutions, VLAN and Qos guarantee program.
