.mpls / Vpn Three-tier Network Technology Research

From 2005, CNC Beijing branch was begining to execute MPLS function in Beijing local IP network and all of super core and core routers in Beijing IP network had been opened MPLS switching function. Most of aggregate routers had MPLS VPN ability and the rest of them such as Cisco Catalyst6500 could support MPLS VPN function by updating its engine. After a series of earlier stage tests, we believed that there would be no problem to carry out MPLS function in the original IP network. Then we enabled MPLS function and provided MPLS/VPN services to our several customer. Now, all of super core and core routers in Beijing IP network have opened MPLS switching function. Most of aggregate routers have MPLS VPN ability and the rest of them such as Cisco Catalyst6500 could support MPLS VPN function by updating its engine.The PE for MPLS/VPN of original IP core network, mostly Cisco 7200 and 7500 router connected to core routers, are providing MPLS/VPN services for Sail,hotel customer .Etc.The intelligent management platform for Local MPLS VPN has been developed based on Huawei MPLS/VPN IPnetmanager.Currently, the service framework and related protocol of L3 MPLS VPN is mature and the service has been put in business in a certain scale. But architecture optimization and detail revision of L3 MPLS VPN need to be done. By referring to the reserach of MPLS / VPN network technology ,this article proposed forming the current network deployment programme and standardize the key parameters of L3 VPN service.How to fully use of current network resources, packing and popularizing L3 VPN service in a large-scale, providing better serviceis for customer is a challenge to CNC Beijing branch.According to combining them effectively ,whith are MPLS / VPN networking technology and the market sector needs,this paper will specially concentrate on constructing the VIP customers choice network by MPLS / VPN networking technology,base on not changeing the structure of original IP core network.
