With the rapid development of computer technology and increasing user demand, the shortcomings of the current mainstream interface WIMP increasingly reflected. There are something like restriction of interactive broadband, complex syntax of operations and limit of small screen, become the major obstacles of its development. The early 90s, researchers have proposed a new generation of user interface ideas. As one of the main interface form,3D user interface is attracted by person for its natural, intuitive interaction. The increase of dimension brings change qualitatively to user interface, however, in the field of 3D user interface study, there is no unified principle of interface paradigm, interaction mechanism and interface metaphor. Interface structure is also facing difficulties because of intersection with other disciplines. Currently, the majority of 3D user interface research has focused on the design of interactive technology research. But both research on interaction paradigm and how to use instinct of human recognition are lack of awareness. It can be said that 3D interface is still in its infancy. This paper is based on situations described before.Based on the analysis of three interface features and three main interactive technologies in 3D interface, this paper set two points, one is interaction paradigm of 3D Interface, and the other one is hand-eye coordination in virtual space. And in the final, a real-dimensional scene is simulated. Studied the relationship between hand-eye coordination interaction and size of 3D-Widget with experimental method. Specific measures include the following: 1. Analyzed the main user interface paradigm, the interface paradigm in the research stage and characteristics of each paradigm comprehensively. Presented the starting point of research on 3D user interface paradigm, which is based on Non-WIMP paradigm.2. Proposed 3D interface paradigm:SWMG. On the method level, SWMG is presented on the deep analysis in two areas:structure of WIMP and real-world metaphor.3. Based on the elements research of SWMG, established interaction process in virtual space. Described the user interaction in virtual space mainly from symbol space, perception space and cognitive space.4. Analyzed hand-eye coordination interaction mechanism in virtual 3D user interface. On the base of human visual, hand operation features, and hand-eye coordination interaction mechanism application in mainstream user interface, analyzed interactive features of hand-eye coordination in virtual space and impact that binocular against to the size of 3D-Widget.5. With experimental method, studied the relationship between hand-eye coordination in space and the size of 3D-Widget. The result provided theoretical support when designers decide the proper comfortable of 3D-Widget.
