The industrial applications of 3G services will promote the development of information society.3G services will gradually penetrate into industrial applications in various industries. It is very important in the use of information technology tools for the country, the transformation of economic growth mode and the promotion of economic development.Shanxi Unicom changes its business from the traditional telecommunications services only to comprehensive broadband communications and multimedia services. It strengths the integration of broadband access and industry application, provides solutions for different industries through the application of WCDMA network and meets the demand of users. A number of distinctive WCDMA application projects have been put into operation in the current industry.The main context of this paper, is Shanxi Unicom WCDMA network has taken full advantage of WCDMA network, extended its applications to three different industries:the traffic rule over, television news and financial services.
