With the increasing expansion of network scale, network architecture model is more and more complex. Network users and bearing service types are also increasing day by day. To figure out the increasing complexity, cognitive network provides new solution, especially in the wireless, heterogeneous and dynamic network environment. Based on research achievement of integration of cognitive radio, cross-layer design and so on, cognitive network further extends cognitive thinking to the design of network architecture. Through observation, learning, planning, decision-making and implementation procedures, cognitive network enhances the network and network elements on the perception and adaptability to environmental changes, automatically optimizes network performance, reducing manual intervention and management, reflecting the network self-organization and autonomy features.863 project "service quality guaranteed key technology research of scalable cognitive network" researches and proposes network architecture supporting QoS guarantee and QoS key technologies, methods and mechanism in cognitive network, figuring out QoS guarantee issues in the complex, heterogeneous and dynamic network environment. As the following project of this 863 project, this subject is a research result demonstration project. This project builds a monitoring demonstration system according to QoS architecture of new proposed scalable cognitive network to demonstrate all research results in service perception aspect.Firstly, this thesis introduces research situation of current new generation network architecture, describing research results of the 863 project in this aspect. Secondly, this thesis designs the architecture of monitoring system bases on demo requirement of key research results of the 863 project, consit of data acquisition layer, data analysis and processing layer, presentation layer and user layer. Thirdly, this thesis describes the design and implementation of all modules in corresbonding layer in detail, focusing on data acquisition, analysis and processing layer. After all modules tested, this thesis carries on integration test in perspective of network, traffic and user, demonstrating key research results of the 863 project in monitoring system, verifies service perception’s advantage in improving the quality of network services. Finally, this thesis proposes scalable suggestion and research direction for designed and implemented monitoring system in this thesis.
