Publish/Subscribe Architecture For Wireless Sensor Networks

In reality most of wireless sensor network (WSN) are built for special use, they are used for Enterprises, institutions and individuals, and the outsiders can’t access the system at all. With the gradual development of IOT (Internet of Things), opening and integration of sensor networks is the trend and direction of future. The integration of multiple systems provides users with more relevant services in a larger region-wide and more types of services, so the study of multi-system integration has high practical significance.In order to integrate the sensor network and the Internet, this paper combines Pub/Sub (Publish/Subscribe) architecture and WSN and using the type of Pub/Sub to get the multi-system integration solution. Through using GSDL to describe the service information, the service description in Internet and WSN achieve uniform, which makes the integration between multiple systems easier.In this paper, through introducing the characters of WSN and Pub/Sub architecture, we proposed the feasibility of a combination of both, and design the overall framework and describe every level’s function. Then based on Pub/Sub architecture in WSN, we study how the sensor node report the service ability to the proxy node, and how proxy node deal with the subscribe service. At last we implement the designs, test the system and give some Optimizations.
