Publish/Subscribe architectures, designed to distribute data to many nodes simultaneously and anonymously, have clear advantages for real-time application developers. In Publish/subscribe model, publisher and subscriber send or receive data anonymously and does not need to have detail information of networks, nor address of other nodes. Publish/Subscribe work well in distributed application which handles complex data flow. The system is adapted to the dynamic large-scale distributed computing environment well and will be used widely due to its asynchronous, many-to-many and loosely-coupled communication properties.CAN (Controller Area Network) is a kind of Field bus. Comparing to normal communication bus. the data communication of CAN bus has excellent characters of reliability, real-time and flexibility, and the strongpoint of Field bus. The CAN-bus is well suited to implement Publish/Subscribe communication model. The research of this paper aimed at the implemented Composite-Events Publish/Subscribe model based on CAN bus. What's more, this paper has discussed the problem involved deeply, the main work is as follows:1. The filtering mechanism of content-based Pub/Sub system was studied. A BDD based event filtering model was introduced in the dissertation. Also "Predicate Indexing Based", "Testing Network Based", and other approaches were examined, and they were compared with the BDD based approach on the time, space and maintainability.2. This dissertation presented the basic model for composite event detection, and discussed four methods based on the basic model. The method based on automata was introduced particularly. Then was compared on the event model, time model and observation model with the other methods.3. In order to meet the request of efficiency in Composite Events. In the paper, we discussed the optimizing event distribution in Pub/Sub systems in the presence of Composite Events and presented a strategy for the Self-reconfiguration of Dispatcher Network to ensure the safety of router.4. Based the matching algorithm and content-based routing algorithm, we constituted the implemented Composite-Events Publish/Subscribe modelbased on CAN bus.5. We introduced the key techniques such as binding, configuration andbroker. The programs and results were explained to prove the feasibility. This paper presented the higher efficiency and reliability of the implemented Composite-Events Publish/Subscribe model based on CAN by large numbers of theories and charts. It was also proved that the model on CAN was feasible through introducing the key techniques and programming, the results meeted the request of the systems.
