Abstract/Summary:
In recent years, because of having no center, self-organization and without fixed infrastructure, Ad-Hoc networks become a research focus to the field of wireless communications. In Ad-Hoc networks, in order to make the nodes can communicate with each other, the routing protocol has become an essential component. However, due to the complex wireless channel, combined with the node mobility, makes the establishment of the route is often less stable, and the routing failure will trigger route repair or route request process, which increases the routing protocol overhead, resulting in waste of network resources. In this paper, the Ad-Hoc networks use multipath routing mechanism to solve this problem. In this paper, first of all, we have a detailed study of the existing characteristics of Ad-Hoc networks, architecture and application, and Ad-Hoc network routing technology. Then, the AODV route discovery, route maintenance and route repair mechanisms are discussed in detail, and thus leads to the concept of multipath routing protocols, including the multipath disjoint, multipath routing composition and so on. Next, because of existing shortcomings of Ad-Hoc networks multipath routing protocol, we propose a new load-balancing effect of multipath routing algorithm called AOMDV-LC. We described the calculation of link load model and multipath selection algorithm and data transmission in detail. Finally, we build simulation platform by Matlab to evaluate and compare the performance of AOMDV-LC with other protocols. This paper is based on AODV-UU(a Linux-based open source code of AODV), to change its traditional single-path data transfer mechanism, designed and developed a new type of multipath routing protocol. Next, we design and implementation of the Ad-hoc networks testbed. The experiment, with existing hardware and software devices, allowing each node within the network with cognitive thinking. That is, each node can sense their own and neighbors’ information, and upload the information to a center node, then after aggregating and analyzing, the result will display on the screen. The experimental platform can be used for the validation of new routing protocols and performance analysis and comparison. Finally, this paper will design new multipath routing protocol based on AODV-UU protocol, then carry out physical verification.
