For years, VG Bank has built and maintains many bank product systems to satisfy bank regulatory/compliance requirements as well as bank business developement. Such as Credit Card system, Anti-Money Laundering system and Custoemr Relationship Management system etc. Due to reasons like tight project schedule or system not designed/developed by VG bank itself, the system running platform are different. With time, some issues and limitation comes out:some user have to switch their service windows from system to system to inquiry and validate customer data due to no real time data synchronization between systems, which caused service duration extended; IT staffs have to not only focus on system core business functionalities but also maintain system functions like system communication, user interfaces and security control etc. It is required urgently to effectively and efficiently integreate the existing whole VG banking systems to achieve the goal of "One window, All businesses". TIBCO BusinessWorksis one of the enterprise intigration products, it is built completely basing on industry open standards. It is good at providing standardized system communicastions, and building new services by reusing existing systems’ programs/codes etc, and integrating systems with minimum cost. With VG bank’s Centralized Service Window project, firstly, the situation how current product systems running separately is discussed, then the limiation or weakness of systems basing on how bank users using them to deal with their day to day works is listed. Then it is pointed out the importance to develop a new next generation platform with centralized service window. After that, some major business operation flows and system functionalities is discussed and analysed; then the new system architecture and design of core business operation flows like customer creation, inquiry and maintenance etc will be discussed. In detail, it is discussed how to convert existing system functions into service by using TIBCO BusinessWorks suite, how to integrate those services and connect to ESB as service provider for service sharing. Lastly the comparison between this system and other similar systems is done and the features of the new Centralized Service Window and extensibility of the new platform is performed.
