Researchand Design Of The Virtual Simulation Experiment Platform

Virtual simulation technology simulate the scene of actual operation which usescomputer technology, it has a wide range of applications in the industrial andlaboratory. This paper takes PLC experiment for example, tells applications of virtualsimulation technology in the laboratory.Because of the restrictions of subjective and objective condition such as place,equipment and funds, it is difficult to obtain the effective development, leading theexperimental effect not ideal. This paper designed a virtual simulation PLCExperiment System with the virtual simulation technology, which is interface friendly、interactivity strong、data structure reasonable and simulation high.Through the requirement analysis of the virtual simulation experiment platform,use modular means build the overall structure of experimental platform, whichincludes: the man-machine interactive operation module; OPC communicationinterface function module; the controlled object library and object operation module;object display module; database operation module and other communication interfacemodules.OPC communication interface module can meet some advantages with usingvarious types of PLC experiment by the OPC technology. Through research theapplication of OPC technology application in the .NET platform to design OPC clientsoftware, realizes the real-time efficient data transmission between the virtualsimulaton experiment platform and PLC hosts.Based on SQL Server 2008 relational database management system, databaseoperation module of data structure includes management data structure of virtualsimulation experimental platform、the controlled object library and those of theoperation module. Through the SQL Server strong safety performance, implementsafety management to the user and the experimental results, with excellent integratedquery technique LINQ technology, implement real-time efficient data accessoperations to database. Also, it uses dynamic display technology to make form richthe controlled object of virtual simulation, a large number of the controlled object ofvirtual simulation can complete the various forms of PLC experiments for users tochoose.Design and realize the interface friendly、man-machine interactive convenientvirtual simulation experimental platform software, which includes PLC experiment module and management module. It provides custom experiment and typicalexperiment to be choosed, custom experimental mode provides rich the controlledobject of virtual simulation and perfect experimental auxiliary function. Typicalexperimental mode presets part of the experiment courses for users commonly used inPLC, which is useful for users to do experimental operations conveniently. Finallytake two typical PLC simulations for example to introduce virtual simulationexperimental platform software in PLC courses about the process of use and functionsof play.This virtual simulation experimental platform software can provide users wholearn PLC courses some experimental exercise similar to the practical control system,which effectively reduce the cost of PLC experiments, improve the effect of PLCexperiments, it has strong practical significance and worth popularization.
