In recent years,P2P which solved the streaming media transmission bottleneck by distributed design and multi-node transmission mechanism became one of the key technologies of streaming media. However, there are still several problems in P2P streaming media transmission such as high demand of serving peer, topology construction mismatch, difficult maintenance, how to make use of vast resources of P2P and ensure the transmission performance in high processing capacity has become a hot technology of P2P.Mesh, as a new technology which based on the IP broadband access, depends on its special properties, becoming the focus of wireless network technologies. This project built P2P Mesh-based transport protocol data unit (PDU) and ring buffer to solve the current deficiencies of P2P streaming technology by drawing the network characteristics and management mechanism of Mesh.Because the arrival time of PDU which sent from nodes through different routes is uncertain,we need to queue up again the streaming media segment sent from different peers by timestamp. And we also can adjust the difference of the transmission speed between nodes by building ring buffer and transmission mechanism of speeding-wait and slow-acceleration.At the same time this paper also proposed eliminating and updating algorithm to update the network topology in real-time and eliminate the unused nodes by analyzing notes information periodically. The streaming media transmission efficiency and performance were guaranteed in Mesh-based P2P environment on the basis of improving the overall stability of the network topology, thus the quality and speed of video transmission were guaranteed. This paper achieved and tested Mesh-based P2P real-time streaming media transmission system, analyzed and summarized the test result.
