As the ship-bridge collision accidents are constantly emerging, the experimental research ofship-bridge collision attracts more and more attentions. The finite element simulation method hasbeen extensively utilized for analysis of ship-bridge collision now. It assume the certain conditionsin the course of modeling, so the processing results are some different form the practical,and it ispowerless in the analysis of the collision process. Especially many problems such as the motionafter collision and whether the second collision will happen after the first collision.The actual ship experiment is the direct method for analysis which will directly give situationofcollisionand provide the firsthand data. For the experimentalresearch ofship-bridge collision, Itis hard to measure the analysis of the collision process by sensor form ship. The camera is fixed inthe reference points (the earth), monocular vision measuring technique has attracted more attentionfor uncontacting the ship,simple installation, simple calibration and free controlofvision, etc.Based on current technique, we design simple calibration which can be easily identified bycamera. We can record the variation of calibration on the ship during the ship-bridge collision inthe spatial location by high-speed camera. The corresponding computer programs are written, andused for analysis of threshold segmentation, elliptic feature points detect and capture, and ellipticfitting of calibration circle of the gathered figures. Eventually, we successfully obtain the three-dimensional trajectory, velocity and angular velocity curves of ship-bridge collision which servesas atheoretical foundation for future motionresearchofship-bridge collision.This dissertation contain following:1.We first analyze the domestic and foreign research situation of ship-bridge collision andmonocular vision measuring, and give research value of the subsequent movement of ship-bridgecollision, especially the trajectory.2.Analysising the camera imaging model, we install the camera model of trajectorymeasurement.3.With obtained vision measurements, we utilized the elliptic perspective model to measuremotion ofship-bridge collision.4.We write measure programs and install the experiment devices of monocular visionmeasuring.5.We repeat procedureofexperiment, and validatethe accuracyandstabilityof model. The experimental results show that this method can effectively measure the position andmotion oftarget.
