With the increment of world import and export, ship becomes larger and faster. Ship collision increase continuously. For this reason, the countries all over the world are seeking valid method of automatical ship collision avoidance.This paper analyzed the principle of ship collision Avoidance in detail. Study the reason and the procedure of ship collision. According to principle of ship collision, inquiry into the relative conception of ship collision parameter. Study the number model of DCPA(distance of collision point) and TCPA(time of collision point), and the countermeasure to prevent from ship collision.Outline the basic theory of fuzzy control and compose of fuzzy control system. According to characteristic of ship sailing control, study and describe a simplified second order transfer function PID control model of ship sailing, and simulate it through Matlab. Elaborate to the conception of collision dangerous degree, and study dangerous degree model according to the principle of fuzzy control.Study the principle of Articial neural network and the neural network basic on BP. Make use of the function of self-adapting and self-study of neural network to remember study expert sample of dangerous degree judgment, and use network to adjudicate the dangerous degree of meeting situation. Inquiry into and outline a neural network adjust method. After analyzing the existent prolem of BP network, inquiry into a few BP network calculate way improvement methods. At the end, adapt the improved BP neural network and use network basic on to establishment a ship collision model on neural network. Analysis it and simulate. Study the advantage of the network base on momentum-self-adapt method.Study stressly on adjudicate of ship collision dangerous degree. Inquire into ship collision dangerous degree adjudicate model base on Fuzzy principle and neural network. At the foundation of above-mentioned work, according to the advantage and the disadvantage of Fuzzy control and neural netwok control, outline the theory of combine together the neural netwok and fuzzy theory. Study and analyze a kind of ship collision avoident basic system frame base onintelligent expert system.At the present time, more and more advanced instrument of navigate and voyage equipments are apply to voyage, as AIS identifies system, ARPA radar, the electronics maritime map information manifestation system (ECDIS), GPS of high accuracy fixed position. It will have an end of realization of the research of intelligence ship collision avoidance system.
