Information is the general development trend of today’s world manufacturing. Atpresent, domestic auto parts enterprises are small and medium-sized enterprisesprimarily, these enterprises, the majority of regional enterprises, small-scale, limitedfunds, lack of professional and technical personnel. With fierce competition in themarket, parts manufacturers need to improve their technical capabilities to meet thechallenge of the market. Engineering software and collaborative design system cangreatly shorten the development cycle, reduce the cost, improve quality, which plays animportant role in the enterprise internal production.At the same time, the price ofspecialized engineering software is expensive and complicated to operate, and how tointegrate their own advantage in the market place has become a topic that many smalland medium enterprises face.A new business model application service provider ofInternet-based SaaS (Soft as a Service) mode, has become an effective solution forsmall and medium-sized enterprises to improve their own technical strength. Theoriginal concept of SaaS has been first proposed in the paper by Keith Bennett since1999, which has been the concern of many companies because of its huge potential toenhance the level of information technology and operational efficiency, how to use thismodel for small and medium-sized enterprises in thedesign, analysis, areas of servicedelivery is still in the exploratory stage.This paper in combination with small andmedium enterprise auto parts of the actual characteristics and the development trend ofSaaS, puts forward a SaaS model based on collaborative design service mode, and onthis basis to construct the public technology service platform, and discussed the keytechnology of the realization of the platform.The paper discusses the basic concepts of the SaaS model, and collaborativerelationship, and aim at the basis of the characteristics of the auto parts industry, publictechnical service platform for auto parts enterprises, in discussing the SaaS platformneeds analysis,functional objectives, content, the mainstream model of a distributedarchitecture based on the proposed overall structure of the B/S model-based serviceplatform, and planning platform features, including online tools, experts onlineconsultation, offline tasks, knowledge center, equipment reservation, and to design aservice process for each of the major modules. Finally,implemented the prototypesystem based on the.NET specification, planning the network structure of the platform to build a platform server, and designed the basic platform database table throughADO.NET access to the database, designed the interface, the preparation of the mainrealization of the program, construction of the security system of the platform. And themain function modules of the platform are being tested for car less variablecross-section of the steel plate spring design optimization was taken as an example toshow the prototype system implementation of main functions and feasibility.The main work of the thesis is a meaningful attempt to provide network designservices for the automotive parts industry through the SaaS model this new service andachievements in paper rich SaaS theoretical system, accelerate the development of SaaSin the country has a certain oftheoretical significance, the design and development ofpublic technical service platform for strengthening the cooperation between enterprises,improve the small and medium-sized enterprises of its own technical strength and thelevel of information has practical value.
