In recent years, the structural reform of China’s coal industry continue to deepen, the rapiddevelopment of modern information technology, coal management of information technologywould provide good conditions to sustainable development of the coal industry; managementinformation in the form of standardization, standardization and information transmissionsystem, information content of safety monitoring automation is the inevitable trend ofapplication system in the coal industry. Construction of comprehensive information saftysystem and application in practice is very necessary and timely based on computer technology,communication technology and network technology,it is also innovation and technologicalprogress of the coal enterprise management, so as to further improve the overallmanagement level of coal mine safety production。Open pit mine informatization constructionis characteristic because of its particularity of production environment and mode ofproduction。Based on the analysis of domestic opencast coal mine and its information systemcharacteristic in the foundation, relying on the" Xinjiang Pirie green opencast coal mineinformation system" project,we put forward to the wireless mesh network (Wireless MeshNetwork, WMN) as basic component of opencast coal mine integrated service informationsystem. The opencast coal mine information system with the video frequency monitoring,voice communication, data transmission, vehicle and personnel positioning and otherfunctions would be construct on ntegrated business bearing platform based on wireless meshnetwork first in China。Design of bearing platform construction is the key to the whole system,according to the actual situation analysis,design and improvement on wireless mesh networkpower, base station location selection, performance optimization of several aspects, andeventually completed to bearing integrated information system for wireless mesh network design and construction.The system was tested. The test results meet the requirements and put into use in practice,stable and reliable operation meet the project party operation requirements and proves that thedesign is feasible.Through the wireless mesh network test results and operation results of the analysis, theresults prove that the design of the wireless mesh network in opencast coal mine environmentsuccessfully carrying the information system for comprehensive business,it has a goodadaptability and high practical value.
