Through the analysis of local wars from abroad in recent years, We can see the modernhigh-tech war is Multi-dimensional and integrated, the heart of fighting for the initiation ofbattlefield is how to fight for the initiation of the electromagnetic spectrum. With theimproving of the electronic war’s technology, especially the using of the electronicinterference and anti-radiation missiles, the threat to radars is increasing serious. Thepassive position system is so difficult to be found that it has a good adaptation.Time-difference location system based on moving platforms has became the focus of study,due to it’s lots of advantages.This paper studied the time-difference location system based on moving platforms.First of all, it is studied the theories of time-difference of arrival (TDOA) locationtechnology, at the same time it is also studied the analysis of algorithm and the positioningaccuracy based on three moving platforms and four moving platforms. Then it is alsostudied the two methods of time difference examining: one method based on the signalsynchronization and another method based on the time synchronization. Then it study thetime synchronization technology which is the important technology in the time-differencelocation system based on moving platforms and time synchronization and introduce theprinciple of time two-way transfer(TTWT),analyze error sources of time two-waytransfer(TTWT) on moving platforms and error sources effect on time synchronizationaccuracy.
