Research On OOPN-based Management Information System Design And Implementation

Generally speaking, management information system is designed to achieve some specificbusiness in a certain field. It has changed management modes, management instruments andmanagement methods since industrialization age. It is an important means for enterprises to obtainand maintain competitive advantage and to form core competencies.Petri net is a modeling tool byusing both rigorous mathematical theory and graphical methods. This article is based on a modifiedPetri net-OOPN (object oriented Petri net).Management Information System design based on OOPN is a type of method with friendly userinterface and clear information process. It deals with the process of building management informationsystem in OOPN model.The main tasks of the thesis include:1. It discusses construction of OOPN model and the steps ofconstructing systematic hierarchy topological structure、construction of object sub-network、theoverall modeling of OOPN etc. It put forwards analysis method;2. Durable design of OOPN modeldefines the label describing the OOPN by using XML mark language;3. OOPN driven engine designputs forward the composition, structure and operation process of driven engine;4. Data mappingdesign on the basis of O/R Mapping maps object and relationship into XML file by using hibernate;5.User interface design is on the basis of sub-network of OOPN. It designs a user interface based ongraphical process which is simple and easy to use. It changes traditional information system userinterface based on function tree structure;6. Finally, information system design method based on Petrinet is applied to material application business processes for A.O.Smith Corporation Nanjing Branch.Validity of the method is verified through system design.In summary, the research paper has a high theoretical and practical value.
