With the appearance of object oriented design and object oriented analysis, it has strongly hastened the development of software field and construct thinking of software, extended the bound of program design, penetrated the domain such as software engineering, information system and technical design and so on. At the same time, design and analysis of database begins to close the topic of oriented object, compared with oriented object database, the relation database is more mature and steady. In this paper, we try to manage and organize the object data in technical domain in relation database, it combines the oriented object and relation database technology will be a applied valuable research task.In this paper, founded the object model firstly based on actual requirement, then constructed the application layer of the monitor software, mapped the object model to relation model with the technology of object-relation. Based on the formerly research production and some rules of object-relation mapping, analyzed and optimized the mapping method through material data, organic combined and integrated the object-relation and relation database technology, implemented the aim that storing and managing the technical data in relation database.Besides, the method of object model is a necessary part, it supplied the interface for the raw code which is created by object model, can be used in the form of DLL file after program compiling, it can supply the data accessing interface for upper application, guarantee upper software has the trait of orient object, the main aim of task is designing a o-r surrogate layer for organizing and managing the object data in relation database.The object relation surrogate layer is specialty from operation logic and actual store of relation database; it has the trait of independency realization and operation transparency, supply a unitive and oriented-object interface for upper application. Programmer can focus on operation logic more dedicated, need not to consider the implement detail, the implement of layered construct in software is very used for the updating, changing and expansion of the monitor system.This paper introduces some pivotal technology including object-relation mapping, the changing of object and relation model, object method management and object data accessing control interface, discusses the design and implementation mainly for the entire monitor system. In the end, this paper pointed out some things need to be perfected, and made a sum-up of the paper.
