The presence of large delay and strong multi-path interference is a problem in aeronauticalcommunication link, showing severe frequency selectivity. Increasingly high demand for aeronauticalcommunications speed, the interval of high-speed signal symbol is very small, delay spread ofmultipath effect will be much greater than the inter-symbol space, cause severe inter-symbolinterference and a serious impact of signal transmission and symbol decision, so specific means needto be studied, and implemented in the FPGA to solve multipath problems. In this paper, we study theanti-multipath interference in aeronautical radio channel, mainly for channel estimation, and channelequalization.Work completed is as follows:1. Based on the study of aeronautical multipath channel, the reference to common anti-multipathtreatment methods, I proposed a algorithm to solve large delay and strong multi-path interference inaeronautical channel, which is channel estimation based on pseudo-code and correlation intime-domain, and time-domain decision feedback equalization scheme based on pilot reconstruction.2. FPGA Implementation of channel estimation and equalization scheme based on pilot, considering the required accuracy, channel estimation and equalization are implemented at thesampling interval, anti-multipath interference was successfully resolved in the FPGA chip.3. HDL code of system module was written, tested. System level test was completed, BERperformance was tested in several multi-path conditions. After testing, the performance of anti-multipath aeronautical communications system is excellent, and can be used in practical condition.
